I love funny comics. I’ve been reading them for a long time, and I think that they can really make people feel better about the world in a very simple way.
I don’t know if you know this, but there are two types of comics: “funny” comics and “guaranteed to cheer you up” comics. The funny ones are usually so silly that they’re almost impossible to read without laughing out loud (or at least showing some facial expression that would make your mom proud).
The guaranteed-to-make-you-feel-better ones are usually much more serious than their hilarious counterparts, but they still manage to get their point across in a way that will make you feel better in the long run.
